The Polemicus Society is a group of pro-free market policy professionals who believe that the future of conservatism hinges on which side wins key debates over economics. We seek to sharpen our debate skills so we can better defend markets against attacks from the "New Right" and the collectivist left.

We don't do wide-ranging discussions, nor do we bring in both sides for an entertaining debate. In each session, we drill down into a particular area where well-meaning free market spokesmen often fall short, and search for ways to do better.

Our September debate workshop will focus on the free market approach to anti-trust legislation and will take place on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.
